Work is Never Done
Just to give people of a glimpse of what a surgical resident does, the saying “work is never done” seems to be most appropriate.
Today, i just came from a 3-day shift in the ER as the trauma resident on duty. Yes, 3 days. 72 hours. After that i was assigned in the pay ward wherein i had to schedule some patients for some diagnostics which werent readily available in the hospital so i had to look else where. This meant i had to call other facilities and to plead to the technicians to take my patient in on such short notice. Once that was done, i had to figure out how to bring the patient there.

Can finish this in 1 sitting. #maltesers is manna from heaven.
